Una sociedad justa y cohesionada debe ser solidaria, y garantizar a todo el mundo el apoyo necesario para superar los momentos de vulnerabilidad en cualquier etapa de la vida, tambi\u00e9n en la vejez.<\/p>\n
El maltrato a las personas mayor es una violaci\u00f3n de los derechos humanos, que a menudo pasa desapercibida y se silencia. Por esta raz\u00f3n, hacemos un llamamiento a la sociedad y a las instituciones para que act\u00faen y pongan fin a esta lacra.<\/p>\n
El maltrato a las personas mayores se manifiesta de formas diferentes, desde la violencia f\u00edsica y emocional, hasta la negligencia y la explotaci\u00f3n financiera. Las mujeres mayores son las que m\u00e1s reciben este tipo de maltrato, por ser mujeres y mayores.<\/p>\n
